The past couple of weeks have been great for the business. The month of February has brought on a lot of different opportunities that we've been able to capitalize on and it's been great! We are average a 3-4 events per week, which is great, but you know we'd love to work as much as possible.
Over the past couple of weeks we have revamped our menu. We changed up the plating for our food and it's been working out great for us. People seem to enjoy the "new look" and we're digging it too. These next couple of weeks will be somewhat interesting. We're still looking to make more improvements with the business and we'll see how it goes as the future unfolds.
It's really just been a really positive past couple of weeks. I feel like this has really been the key in our success lately. "Negativity may be leading at half time, but positivity wins championships." -Gary Vaynerchuck.
Let's be positive guys!!!
So we had a couple of lunches last week. It felt good to shake off a little bit of the cold and get back into working the truck again. We were surprised to see that many customers were still buying and trying our "Best Mango Otai." Since it's still cold here in Utah we were pleasantly surprised that people were still looking to get their "Otai fix."
This week will most likely consist of a lot of brushing up on some of the business needs. For anyone looking to start up a food truck business be prepared for all sorts of weather conditions. We served in Draper where the wind was crazy! Our signs blew everywhere as well as the sauces, forks, and tip jar (Noooo!! lol). Luckily there were some amazing customers that helped us get everything together. Needless to say.....we're probably going to get some new signs.
Anyways, business went pretty well for our first week back in the truck. We also had our first catering customer of the year come through this past week as well. Hopefully, the weather can continue to get better/warmer.
We hope that everyone is having a great week! Let's stay productive.
We hope that everyone has enjoyed the holidays! Winter is still hanging around, but we are looking to start up this year with a bang!! We look forward to serving you guys some of the best Hawaiian BBQ in the valley.
In this section of website, we will be looking to post a little more about the family behind the business and show maybe a little bit of our lives with the food truck business and community. We hope that you enjoy a few of our posts to come as we show you, "The family behind the business!"
Mahalo to everyone who has supported us and our little business! Let's begin this year off with a bang!!!
We'll keep you posted on our events to come!
